Interesting place for a passage.....

Deu 22:3 Do the same if you find your brother's donkey or his cloak or anything he loses. Do not ignore it.

Deu 22:4 If you see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help him get it to its feet.

Deu 22:5 A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

Deu 22:6 If you come across a bird's nest beside the road, either in a tree or on the ground, and the mother is sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young.

Deu 22:7 You may take the young, but be sure to let the mother go, so that it may go well with you and you may have a long life.

As I was reading through these passages, I found it interesting the placing and phrasing of the above scripture. One thing I have wondered about is why some Christian woman feel as though they should wear dresses and skirts. As I was reading this I found clothing to be an interesting topic to come up where it was. It made me think back to Genesis....

Gen 3:21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

God was the original one who created clothes for men and women. Perhaps he wanted men and women to look differently, as he made us different. Definitely something for me to ponder!
